46 Rocks!!!

What an AWESOME 46th birthday I had.
Started out with Courtney and I doing our birthday dinner at Red Robin Monday night.
Denny, Sami, Tino & Brooke were with us for dinner.
Red Robin..... YUMMMMMMM

This morning I woke up to several birthday wishes on Facebook already at 5am.
I missed a called from my sister-in-law and nieces singing me happy birthday, I was in the shower.
I love that call....
And every year at 7:04 am my mom calls me, that is the time I was born.
I love that call also...
Then off to work I go...
My phone kept tweeting all day with great Happy Birthday text's and calls from people.
I have to say this one below was my favorite to get.
This is from my cousin Julie, Bennett and Anna.
Love it!!!

I was disappointed because Yesenia (aka-Jessie) had told me that she was
having eye surgery and wasn't going to be there for my birthday.
She has never missed one yet.
Well guess what she LIED...
I was sitting in my office and heard someone come in saying Trick or Treat.
I got up and went out to the front and it was Yesenia, Gregorio, Denny and Savannah.
They had lunch with them.
For years Gregorio has been telling me he would make me his meat, carne asada.
Yup, they had it ready for us. I got so excited.
OMG it was so good.
Thank you so much.

It is a running joke at the office that because its my birthday everyone has to dress up.
Karina hates to do it, but for me she does it every year at least long enough for us to get pictures.
This year by far she did the best costume ...
She's the ghost. Love it!!

This was in the Centralia office.
Karina, Me, Renee, Savannah & Yesenia.

Karina and Savannah.
Can't you see the big smile on Karina's face. LOL

After lunch I drove to the Longview office to work for a couple of hours.
Here is what I walked into.

The video of the girls singing to me is on the blog post below this.
I couldn't get it on here... gggrrrr

Longview Office
Heidi, Kimberly, Me & Ashley.

I was a good girl and didn't open any cards until today.
Look how many I got, and most of them came snail mail.
I also had LOTS of post's on Facebook. I got over 100 post's and more
people wishing me happy birthday on the photo's I posted.
I feel very blessed to be loved this much.

We get lots of Trick or Treater's at our house.
This is the first year it was just Denny and I answering the door.
I love seeing all the little kids.
Here are some of the little cuties.

When we ran out of candy and turned the lights of and Denny and I just hung out.
Like out costumes? LOL

Thank you everyone for the wishes and cards, texts and calls.
I had an awesome birthday.

Worth the pain...

I still needed to finish my tattoo.
This is a family tattoo.
Chris, Sami & I all have it now.
It is each one of our initial's and 4 life,
D.T.C.S
4
Life

I needed some more color added and also the "4 life" added.
Here is what I got done the first time.

This is my kid's tatto's.
Chris's

Sami's

Wes got my design out and started playing with it to figure out how and
where to add what I needed.
With mine and Meghan's help here is what he came up with.
Watching Wes get the stuff ready was freaking me out,
I tried not to let him know I was freaking out.
I did take a happy pill to help calm me down.

I knew from the start that I just had to tough it out because
I never want to do it again. LOL
I hurts like a bitch.
I got my headphones on and cranked up my music, and off we went.
The more is hurt the louder my music would get.

Taking a break for a couple of minutes.
As you can see he's got the leaves on and the 4 life with a banner.
Still have to finish the coloring on them and also go over the flowers again with color.

I was doing pretty well until he go to working on coloring in the flowers.
When he got to the yellow flower, Wes stoped and said
"OK I'm going to work on Grandma's flower"
I knew I had to be tough for that one. I had to sit up straight so he could work on it,
I had my arms and legs wrapped around the chair and pushing in on themselves.
Like I was using a thigh master LOL
My grandma's favorite flower was a yellow rose, and mine is the red & black rose.
If you look they are side by side.

He finally got done.
This time it only took 3 hrs.
I totally love it.

It is alot bigger then I had started out to get but I totally love it.
Thanks Wes for all the hard work you put into this.
Also thanks for Meghan and Denny for taking the pictures and putting
up with Wes and I doing this.
Love you all.
This is the next day.

It is funny to see what ppl said about my tat.
I posted a photo yesterday and got all this so far.

The finished product... Love it!!!! Thanks Wes.. Totally worth the pain... — with Wesley Davis.

OMG!!!

Today I did something I'm most likely going to regret.
Pam posted that she was doing the Wenatcheee marathon, oh no
not the 1/2 but the whole damn thing.
Well you know me, I can't let her do something and me not being able to
say I did the same thing.
So yes, I singed up for the Wenatchee marathon on April 20, 2013.

START TIMES
All races will start at the Performing Arts Plaza on Wenatchee Avenue.
6:30am: Early Bird Start for Marathon walkers (26.2 miles only)
8:00am: Half Marathon (runners and walkers)
8:15am: Marathon and 10K

Yes I will be in the 6:30am group.

So I really need to focus on my running and training.
Pam last year had taken several class on Chi Running.
She had already arranged for one of the Chi coaches to come to the Chehalis area
and give us a private class for those of us who want to take it.
That is going to be on November 5th.
I'm excited about that.
Pam and I also signed up for the Chi marathon 24 week training schedule.
We don't start that until next week, so that it will end on "M" day April 20th.

I posted this on the running wall right after I signed up for the full marathon.

Teri Schmidt-Wiley----HELP.... I knew what Pam Scott was thinking, and I knew if she was going to do it then I would have too. So I need your help with a 6 month marathon training plan. You already know what I'm up to as far as the 1/2 marathon last weekend so I need to know how to correctly train. Can you help me please? LOL
  • Christy Lambert Teri - yes of course. On three conditions, 1 no goals around time, 2 a willingness to try run/walk method ,3. A promise to listen to your body & have fun.

Teri Schmidt-Wiley--- Christy Lambert, you got it I just want to finish..

Then later Christy private messaged me this-

    Christy Lambert
Congrats on the 1/2! I'll work with you to create a plan for the full. In the meantime, would you be willing to be featured as our inspired runner for November? I'd love to share your story with the community. Let me know your thoughts. Christy

OMG, I would love to... I heard Pam's interview serveral months ago. Loved it..

So these next several months are definitely going to be an adventure.
I know one thing, Pam and I will really be in shape and be able to mark this off our bucket list.
Yes, this will be the only full marathon for both of us.
Both our husbands already asked each of us that question. LOL

    • April 20th will be an amazing day.
What a way to spend mine and Denny's 27th wedding anniversary which is April 25th.
